Job Description

Matchtech client in renewables seeks a Protection and Control Engineer for BESS projects in Glasgow. The role focuses on developing protection schemes, relay coordination, and grid integration to ensure reliability and safety of utility-scale energy storage systems.

The candidate will perform system modeling with ETAP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and CYME, design protective relays and SCADA interfaces, and work with IEC/IEEE/NERC standards.
