Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our fiber optic network deployment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and a proven track record in managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands on experience managing fiber optic network deployments (FTTx, FTTH, etc.)
- Familiarity with optical fiber testing, troubleshooting, and splicing equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (ITU T, IEEE, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Experience with Fibrous Build or similar fiber deployment technologies is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as GIS, AutoCAD, or other network planning software.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly within the telecommunications or fixed network sectors.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure profitability and successful execution of projects.
- Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, risks and utilization across projects.
- 0% loss to company due to the project.
- Deliver high level deliverables across projects.
- Measure the profitability of fixed network deployment.
Salary Range: GBP 0 – 3500 per Month
