Summary of the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to play a key role in a significant transformation program, driven by business expansion.

Responsibilities include managing the successful delivery of large-scale projects within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality criteria, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analysing the performance of the projects, recommend and implement corrective action to cover gaps
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate project disciplines and controls to ensure successful and controlled project delivery
  • Identifying, evaluating and managing risks to the project, implementing appropriate actions to mitigate risk using risk management techniques
  • Producing project documentation in line with the agreed methodology and provide regular, timely and accurate updates on progress
  • Providing management direction and leadership to the project team to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensuring that TCF & consumer duty principles are understood and embedded throughout the project lifecycle

What we’re looking for

  • An experienced, generalist, Financial Services Project Manager. Exposure to Life and Pension sector (desirable)
  • Business Process Outsourcing experience (desirable)
  • System deployment experience (desirable)
  • Business Process Re-engineering experience (desirable)
  • Business case writing experience (desirable)
  • Effective stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
