Key responsibilities and tasks of the Project Manager:
- Creation and management of new and existing work packages and projects
- Managing stakeholders and ensuring technical delivery of Engineering Projects
- Oversight of delivery of verification evidence for launch vehicles and its systems
- Contribute to upcoming Grants and Future Projects
Required experience for the Project Manager:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Management role
- Professional project management qualification (i.e. Prince2)
- Experience of maintaining relationships and liaison with team members and key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Experience of creating key project documents
- Engineering and technical competence, sufficient to enable decision making
- Understanding of non-core project management roles such as purchasing, and engineering management etc.
- Experience in creation of project business cases and pitching to stakeholders
Additional requirements:
- Valid passport, including right to work in the UK
- Full driving licence is preferred
- Must be willing to work in a dynamic teamwork-oriented environment
