Role: Project Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 DOE
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Are you ready to make an impact? We’re looking for a dynamic Project Engineer to join our client s team who is a well-established MSP. If you’re passionate about technology, customer service, and continuous improvement, this is a perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site installation and configuration of infrastructure application, networking and end-point solutions
  • Collaborative support, such as assisting the service desk and pre-sales operations when needed
  • Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch IT solutions and services to our diverse client base
  • Collaborate with the Project s team to plan, establish and coordinate projects.

Technical Expertise:

  • Microsoft Technologies: Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Networking: LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Fortinet, Unifi, HP, Meraki, etc.
  • Virtualisation: Hyper-V & VMWare.
  • VoIP Systems: Experience is a plus.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with an MSP
  • Relevant qualification within the IT sector, or similar.
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Be prepared to work the occasional evenings and weekends as required
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Great team and collaboration experience
