Production Trainee
Job Description
To train as a machine operator starting on days with prospects to moving onto a 5-crew shift. You will receive a structured programme and a dedicated mentor with training in our Forming Department. You will also gain awareness in other areas, including Production Engineering, Mould Repair and with the Feeder Team.
Responsibilities:
- Establish an effective communication flow between forming and inspection, verbally and via internal systems to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Monitor performance and report any issues to supervision in a timely manner
- Identify mechanical malfunctions and rectify where possible.
- Filling in on shifts where required to maintain optimal performance.

- Good Communication and teamwork skills
- Be organised, proactive and self-motivated
- Have a high attention to detail and observation skills
- Have a commitment to continuous improvement
- Analytical and logical in approach
- Fault finding and problem-solving skills
