Production Operative – Immediate Start

13 per hour + overtime premiums
JDR are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established agricultural business with an excellent reputation for looking after its staff. We are seeking a Production Operative to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a supportive workforce, with the potential to secure a permanent contract.
Main Duties
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Labouring and handling agricultural produce
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Hours of Work
- Core hours: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm; Friday, 8am-3pm
- Flexibility required: During peak periods, 12-hour shifts may be needed (with plenty of notice)
- Overtime: Paid at x1.5 and x2
Pay & Benefits
- Basic rate: 13 per hour
- Overtime premiums available

About You
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong team spirit
- Reliable and hardworking with a focus on safety and quality
- Previous experience operating forklifts is desirable
- Experience in production or agriculture is helpful but not essential
