Job Description
My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join near Grangemouth. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime
- Planning and organising production schedules
- Distribute manpower effectively
- Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend
- Ensure that Team Leaders are fulfilling the Roles and Responsibilities expected of them
- Overseeing the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls
- Reviewing departments performance against Action Plans and KPI’s
- Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
- Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business
Experience required:
- 5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role
- Sound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods
- Implement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better
- Excellent project management skills
- The ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi-functional teams
- Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety
- Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program
