Job Description

Production Associate – Livingston, West Lothian

Raytheon UK offers an exciting permanent opportunity for a Production Associate to join our team in Livingston. The role is based in an electronics manufacturing facility, with potential travel to the alternative site in Glenrothes when needed. You will work a day shift schedule of 37 hours per week: Monday to Wednesday 07:30-17:18 and Thursday 07:30-17:06, and you will receive comprehensive training during the first few weeks to develop the necessary knowledge and skills. Eligibility for BPSS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
  • Mechanical and wiring assembly
  • Kit preparation
  • Bonding and coating
  • Testing of assemblies and sub assemblies using specialised equipment

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar environment or role
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Basic PC skills
  • Quality focused, with a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Requirement to pass a basic eye test (including colour blindness)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Organisational skills
