Job Description

The NXP Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is committed to rapidly addressing security vulnerabilities in NXP products by responding and documenting reported vulnerabilities and providing customers with clear guidance on the impact, severity, and mitigation. See also

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing between reporters of potential security vulnerabilities in NXP products and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that Incident Response Core Teams (IRCT) are set up to handle new cases.
  • Keeping track of open cases and supporting the IRCTs as needed.
  • Supporting other PSIRT team members in continuously improving NXP’s incident handling processes.
  • Managing the PSIRT secretariate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering – Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Security or Mathematics.
  • Strong social skills.
  • Analytical, flexible and resilient.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems, hardware and software, and their security; ability to learn quickly where needed.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in an emergency response team or crisis team.
  • Experience working in international organizations across multiple time zones.
