Overview
Are you a Private Client Solicitor in Edinburgh with around two to five years’ PQE seeking a new challenge? This opportunity is with one of Scotland’s leading private client practices, offering a supportive environment and the chance to take on meaningful responsibility.

The work is broad and engaging, spanning wills, trusts and executries through to powers of attorney and guardianships, with some tax and accounts work to keep things interesting. It is a front-facing role where you’ll meet clients, build relationships, and be the person they rely on.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop your own caseload across private client matters (wills, trusts, executries, powers of attorney, guardianships) with additional exposure to related tax and accounts work.
- Engage with clients directly, meeting their needs and providing clear, straightforward advice.
- Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Approximately 2-5 years’ PQE in private client work.
- Commercially sharp with the ability to work to financial targets.
- Confident in communicating with clients and able to put them at ease with clear guidance.
- Enjoys client-facing work, relationship building, and contributing to business development.
