Job Opportunity: Private Client Solicitor – Senior Associate
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
A growing Scottish firm is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to advise on wills, Powers of Attorney, succession planning, trusts and executry administration. This role offers autonomy, direct client contact and the chance to develop expertise across a broad private client portfolio.
Role Requirements:
- Advising on wills, succession, inheritance tax and Powers of Attorney
- Managing your own caseload and meeting key deadlines
- Handling executries, trusts and Adults with Incapacity applications
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and undertaking research
- Liaising with clients and supporting junior colleagues where needed
Experience:
- Previous private client experience (STEP qualification or working toward it welcomed)
- Confident managing files independently and within a team
Skills:
- Detail-focused, organised and proactive
- Clear communicator with a client-focused mindset
- Able to work effectively across varied and sensitive matters
