Production Print Operator
Penicuik Area Monday to Friday Day Shift
Permanent Salary £24,600 plus benefits
STEM Recruitment Solutions are working on behalf of a leading life sciences manufacturer to recruit a Production Print Operator for their specialist print and labelling department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team producing high-quality printed labels for diagnostic products in a clean, regulated, and process-driven environment.
What you ll be doing:
- Operating label printing equipment in line with production schedules
- Ensuring label accuracy and availability for scheduled manufacturing batches
- Monitoring and maintaining label stock levels
- Maintaining high cleanliness and GMP standards in the print area
- Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
- Participating in system updates, procedure reviews, and template changes
What we re looking for:
- Experience working within a regulated or GMP environment
- Preferably 2 years experience in a printing, manufacturing, or production role
- Strong IT skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, quality-driven mindset
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of 5S, lean, or Six Sigma principles
