Job Description

Capco is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer (Java) to join our Technology & Engineering team in Scotland. The role focuses on architecting secure, scalable cloud-native backend systems for global financial clients, with hybrid work in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

You’ll lead technical decisions, mentor teams, and drive CQRS based, event driven architectures using Java 11+ and AWS. A strong security mindset and CI/CD experience are essential.
