We’re seeking a high-impact professional to join this mission-driven organization and help accelerate the development and execution of clean energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead full lifecycle development of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage) across ERCOT and surrounding markets.

Identify, evaluate, and secure new project sites through landowner outreach and negotiation of land agreements.

Oversee permitting activities, including coordination with environmental consultants, local agencies, and regulatory bodies.

Manage interconnection process with ERCOT and utility partners, tracking milestones and resolving technical challenges.

Support financial modeling and project valuation in partnership with internal finance and strategy teams.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders-landowners, communities, permitting authorities, and utilities.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Monitor policy, market, and regulatory trends impacting Texas’s renewable energy sector.

Contribute to strategic portfolio growth and opportunity evaluation.
Experience Required:

5-10+ years of progressive experience in renewable energy project development (solar, wind, or battery storage).

Proven track record of managing utility-scale projects in ERCOT or similar ISO/RTO environments.

Experience with land acquisition, permitting, and interconnection processes.

Familiarity with ERCOT queue procedures, market rules, and transmission planning.

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental studies, business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
