As we continue to grow and expand, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented Pricing and Inventory Executive to join our Commercial Team.

Your role

As a Pricing and Inventory Executive, you will play a critical role within the Commercial Team at Rabbie’s Tours, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial. You will be responsible for optimising pricing strategies, managing tour availability, and ensuring inventory accuracy across all booking platforms. This position requires a keen eye for data, strategic thinking, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to help drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Optimisation

  • Assist in the development and execution of pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and market dynamics.
  • Regularly assess and update pricing structures to ensure they are competitive and reflective of market demand.
  • Conduct market research to monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with both sales and marketing teams to implement promotional prices and special offers.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee the allocation of tour availability across various booking channels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date capacity representation.
  • Monitor real time availability to prevent overbooking and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and timely inventory updates, particularly during peak periods.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse and report on pricing performance, tour availability, and booking trends, providing actionable insights to the Head of Commercial.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and inventory management.
  • Support the development of data-driven pricing models to maximise revenue.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to address inventory or pricing issues.
  • Ensure smooth communication between departments to maintain accurate data across platforms.

System & Tools Management

  • Utilise booking and inventory management software to ensure accurate pricing and inventory control.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy in pricing and inventory management.

Your skills, experience & qualifications Essential

  • Experience in pricing, inventory management, or revenue management, ideally within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with booking management systems and/or CRM software.
  • Experience with travel specific platforms or inventory management tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing pricing and inventory challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within the Commercial Team and across other departments.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
