Are you a skilled surveyor with a passion for property preservation and a desire to make a real difference to customers and communities? We are recruiting for an experienced Preservation Surveyor to join a market-leading contractor known for delivering high-quality damp, timber, and structural repairs across domestic and commercial buildings.
The Role:
As a Preservation Surveyor, you ll be the technical expert on-site inspections, diagnosing issues related to dampness, timber decay, rot, and structural defects. You will produce detailed, accurate reports and specifications for remedial works while ensuring a solution-focused approach that supports clients and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed property inspections and identify issues relating to damp, timber, and structural integrity.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and recommendations for remedial action.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams, clients, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Work with integrity and care, ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout.
About You:
- Previous experience in a preservation or surveying role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of timber preservation, damp proofing, and waterproofing.
- Surveying qualifications such as CSTDB.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to doing the job right, first time.
- Full UK driving licence required.
