Our divisional heads will then email your CV internally to the consultant who specialises in your exact sector, for example a category of packaging is cartons, a category of print is print management, in fact we have over 30 specialist categories. Our client is looking for a Pre Press Operator with to join their fast paced Studio. This role would be Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm.
We are looking for someone who knows their way around an Apple Mac to join our busy Pre-Press team where you will be preparing clients artwork for print. You must be a hardworking, dynamic individual with a good eye for detail and an interest in all things print. Our client uses the latest Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, so good experience in these applications is expected. A good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel would also be beneficial.
Job Requirements
- Carrying out digital file checking, preparation, impositions and output to various proofing and printing devices
- Print / Packaging manufacturing experience
- Plate-making experience
- Experience of working with pre-press workflows
- Good knowledge of the print process is essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks
- Knowledge of colour separations, press layouts, print specifications
- Producing work on time to the highest standard, good attention to detail
- Creative Design skills – desirable but not required
