Pre-Assessment Nurse Practitioner – Surgical Admissions

Job Description

NHS Fife’s Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Staff Nurse to join the Pre-assessment suite on a fixed-term nine-month maternity cover. You will support the Senior Charge Nurse, assess patients preoperatively, and help plan admission for elective surgery. Band 5 or Band 6 applicants with surgical/orthopaedic experience are welcome to apply.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice, excellent communication, and teamwork, with pro-rata hours for part-time arrangements.
