LOGICALPS are one of the UKs leading labour providers to the construction and nuclear sectors. Working on behalf our client, a world leader in facilities technical and FM services, we are currently looking to recruit Power Station Labourers for roles in Dunbar, on Torness Power Station for the statutory outage starting January 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to get a foot into the nuclear sector at Torness or anyone looking to earn a large amount of money in a short period of time for the outage.
Full nuclear clearance will be provided for successful applicants allowing you to work on any UK nuclear site for 5 years
Details:
- Starting January 2025
- Duration 3 months work (opportunity for permeant placements)
- Hours 40-80 per week (on a rota basis)
- £14.15ph – Monday-Friday up to 37 hours
- £21.23ph – Time and a Half – After 37 hours Monday-Friday and all first 4 hours Saturday
- £28.30ph – Double Time – After 4 hours Saturday and all hours Sunday
The Job Role:
- Industrial cleaning of all areas of plant, including industrial areas, as well as floors, fittings and fixtures
- Firewatching
- Confined space guardian work
- Assisting other trades on site
Requirements:
- Previous experience within manual work/warehouse/construction/labouring/process
- Own transport due to the location of site
- Willingness to undergo security clearance, you will be required to complete a Scottish disclosure and provide 3 years worth of references
Successful candidates will undergo an in depth Security Background check and Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
