Job Description
Grade UE07: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: until 28th February 2027
The Opportunity
Conduct original research on neuronal networks underlying the processing of natural visual stimuli, using in vivo large-scale two-photon calcium imaging and virtual reality in awake behaving mice.
Analyse in vivo large-scale two-photon calcium imaging data sets combined with behavioural data (pupil diameter, speed, motor movements).
Skills and Attributes for Success
- PhD in Neuroscience is required with experience in in vivo large-scale two-photon calcium imaging.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing.
- Experience in electrophysiological recordings.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
