Job Description
We are recruiting for Plating Supervisors to support frontline operations within a yard, vessel build, repair or inspection environment. These roles suit individuals with strong plating or fabrication experience who are confident supervising teams, coordinating daily activities and ensuring work is delivered safely, productively and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support plating teams on a day to day basis.
- Plan daily work activities to meet production targets.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with procedures.
- Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks and promote safe behaviours.
- Monitor quality standards and address defects or rework issues.
- Report progress, risks, issues or constraints to management.
- Support team performance, attendance, onboarding and development.
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship, advanced qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven experience leading, coordinating and motivating operational teams.
- Plating or fabrication experience.
- Strong supervisory skills and commitment to safety, quality and delivery.
- Good people management skills.
Additional Requirements
- All candidates will need to complete BPSS security clearance as part of the onboarding process.
