Scottish Government, through SASA’s Potato, Virology & Zoology Branch in Edinburgh, invites applicants to join as a Modern Apprentice in Potato Pathology. You will learn microbiological, molecular and immunological lab techniques, including pathogen isolation, PCR, qPCR, and ELISA testing, contributing to diagnostic services for the SP C S.

You will work toward an SCQF qualification in Laboratory Techniques and build practical skills for a career in plant science within a supportive team.
