Plant Fitter / Service Engineer
Scotland Door-to-Door Pay £22-£24 per Hour Company Van Provided
We’re working with a well-established business within the crushing and screening sector that is looking to add an experienced Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to its growing service team.
This is a field-based role covering customer sites across Scotland, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and breakdown repairs on crushers and screeners. You’ll join a close-knit team of six service engineers, reporting directly to the Service Manager.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair crushers and screeners at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Attend breakdown call-outs across Scotland
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections
- Work closely with the service team to ensure downtime is minimised
- Complete service documentation using a company tablet
- Maintain high standards of health and safety on customer sites
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working on crushers, screeners, heavy plant or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent customer-facing skills
