Job Description
Are you a qualified Pharmacist, or a Pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification, passionate about delivering high-quality patient care?
We’re working with a respected pharmacy group operating across Scotland, currently seeking a dynamic Pharmacist to join their team in Thurso.
Accommodation is included as part of the package.
Salary based on average 44.5 hours per week (including alternate Saturday).
Key Duties
- Dispense/prescribe medications safely and effectively, adhering to legal and professional standards
- Use clinical judgment to make informed decisions, considering patient history, allergies, comorbidities, and preferences
- Benefit from a supportive environment with centralised dispensing and accuracy checkers, allowing you to focus on clinical care
- If an Independent Prescriber, deliver patient focused services in line with the Pharmacy First Plus initiative, with additional financial incentives for enhanced care
Package and Benefits
- Starting salary £52,500 – £56,500 (with an IP supplement), with a 6 month performance review for potential salary increase based on KPIs

Skills and Qualifications
- MUST be a qualified, GPhC registered Pharmacist in the UK (essential)
- Independent Prescriber qualification beneficial
- Strong clinical decision making skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
