Locations: Moray – Burghead, Hopeman, Findhorn, Forres, Cummingston, Lossiemouth, Lhanbryde, Elgin
Hours: Various Hours available. Monday – Friday. Earliest Start Time 08:00, Latest finish 18:00. Driver Essential.
Overview
We are an award-winning social care charity. Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a vital role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.
Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as a Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
Responsibilities
- Support people within their own homes for a few hours a day to allow them to access community and attend day centres.
- Support a person to carry out their shopping tasks.
- Provide support to attend appointments.
- Assist with personal care and medication, if required.
- Assist with moving and handling.
- Offer positive behavioural support and expand social networks and connections.
