PDI Technician
Job Description
We are recruiting for a PDI Technician on behalf of a well-established client in Edinburgh and Midlothian. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PDI Technician to join a reputable dealership group that values technician expertise and offers career development.
- Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 with a potential OTE of £45,000
- Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Duties as a PDI Technician
- Perform detailed pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
- Diagnose vehicle faults proactively and accurately
- Conduct safe, efficient, and cost-effective servicing and repairs
- Collaborate effectively within the workshop team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain meticulous records of repair and service work
- Complete all workshop documentation accurately and promptly
- Uphold the professional image of the workshop while building positive relationships with colleagues and customers
Requirements
- At least an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to undertake manufacturer-specific training programmes
- Full UK driving licence
