We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable, multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, for a highly skilled Bus/PCV Technician.

Working Hours for the PCV Technician: – 42.5-hour week, shifts based on a weekly rotating system: 6:00am-3:00pm, 7:00am-4:00pm, and 1:00pm-10:00pm
- Working 1 in 3 Saturdays, 7:00am-1:00pm, paid at overtime rates

Duties of the PCV Technician:
- Conduct all vehicle service work and preventative maintenance to the highest quality standards and within manufacturer timeframes
- Diagnosing heavy goods vehicle malfunctions through comprehensive testing and inspection
- Carry out repairs, safety inspections, and vehicle diagnostics efficiently
- Support colleagues with technical issues and technological advancements
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Document diagnosis results, repair actions, and safety checks accurately
- Contribute to maintaining high customer service standards and vehicle quality
Requirements of the PCV Technician:
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in PCV/PSV/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair as a minimum
- At least one to two years of practical experience post-qualification as a Vehicle Technician
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a high-volume dealer environment
- Strong team player with a committed and motivated approach
- Motor trade experience in a franchise-approved setting essential
- PCV driving licence advantageous but not mandatory
