PCB Assembler / Solderer
Location: Livingston
Employment Type: Full Time (38 hrs, Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm)

First Achieve Engineering are working with a well-established electronics manufacturer to recruit an experienced PCB Assembler / Solderer to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking business that invests heavily in people and technology.
The Role
The primary focus of this role is Pin Through Hole (PTH) soldering on a variety of circuit boards. You will also support other production and assembly tasks as required. Responsibilities include:

Soldering components into PCBs, following assembly drawings and specifications.

Performing view and touch-up on wave-soldered PCBs.

Carrying out mechanical assembly of products and sub-assemblies.

Assisting with SMT inspection when required.

Supporting general production work, including preparing items for build and manual assembly tasks.
What You’ll Need

Previous soldering experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment.

Ability to recognise and work with both PTH and SMT components.

Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach.

Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work on own initiative.

Flexible approach to working arrangements (occasional out-of-hours work may be required).
Desirable
-
IPC-A610 Certification.

Previous SMT soldering experience.
