Payroll Assistant

Are you an experienced payroll assistant who is available for work immediately and open to a long term contract?
We are hiring for a well known accountancy practice based in Paisley, who are looking for an experienced payroll assistant ideally with practice experience to support them for a period of 9 months.
This is a 9 month FTC, working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, you will ideally be available to start work immediately.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing a number of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Managing pension submissions and NI liabilities
- Communicating with clients directly to tailor payroll processes
- Building experience with recurring client accounts
- Supporting the payroll seniors and gradually taking ownership of responsibilities

- Down-to-earth and adaptable – this is a relaxed, no-drama kind of office
Experience in a payroll is essential, and if that’s within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau, even better!
