Instant payments went live across the euro area. ISO20022 replaced the old messaging. Every corporate bank now needsGerman-speaking people who can keep real-time payments clean under pressure -that’s you.

We represent a range of corporate and institutional transaction-bankingemployers building out their payments operations right now, driven by the EUInstant Payments mandate and the market-wide move to ISO 20022. We’re buildinga shortlist of senior payment-operations professionals who can sit between thepayment engine and the business – and we place them across onshore DACH, UKoperations hubs, and the nearshore centres (Poland, Portugal) where thesebanks run their payments operations.

Requirements

What you’d own

  • The operational point ofcontact between payment processing and the business – relationshipmanagers, product, and corporate clients – keeping communication accurateand calm when a high-value payment stalls.
  • Payment investigationsand exception management across SEPA / SCT Inst, TARGET2 andcross-border rails, driven to resolution.
  • Nostro reconciliationand end-to-end tracking with modern payment-traceability capability.
  • The sanctions /transaction-screening interface, so control and client experience movetogether.
  • Real-time exception and Verification-of-Payee handling on live instant rails, and the operational side of the ISO20022 (MX) transition.

What makes you a fit

  • Fluent German andEnglish – used daily across German-speaking clients and colleagues.
  • Corporate or wholesale paymentoperations grounding in a bank or transaction-banking function.
  • Practical fluency across SEPA, TARGET2 and SWIFT in both MT and MX (ISO 20022).
  • A control mindset withgenuine client-facing confidence.

Nice to have – Eurozone clearing / instant-paymentinfrastructure exposure; corporate connectivity channels (e.g. EBICS); paymentinvestigations / case-management tooling.
