Job Description

Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently supporting a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Brighton area in their search for a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) from September.

This is a 1-year maternity cover position, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent within the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher who is looking to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

The Role:

  • KS2 Teacher (Part-time – 3 days per week)
  • 1-year maternity cover (September start)
  • Based in Brighton
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply
  • Recent experience as a UK Primary Teacher, ideally within KS2
  • A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching

Salary:

  • Paid to scale (M3 – M6)
