Part-Time Healthcare Laundry Aide (10 hrs/wk)

Job Description

NHS Shetland’s Gilbert Bain Hospital Laundry is seeking a part-time Laundry Assistant to join the Hotel Services Department. The role is 10 hours per week (Mon & Fri, 10:00-15:00) with Band 2 pay (£26,696-£28,988 pro rata) plus a Distant Island Allowance (£2,578 pro rata).

You will handle sorting, washing, drying, ironing and distributing linen, following procedures to maintain quality and hygiene. A full UK driving licence is desirable, and training will be provided with ongoing support.
