Overview
Looking for trustworthy and reliable help in a busy, licensed dog breeding environment. This is a hands on role, so you must be comfortable around multiple dogs and happy to muck in where needed.
Household duties
- Washing and ironing
- General household cleaning and tidying
- Keeping the home organised and running smoothly
Dog related duties
- Cleaning and maintaining dog areas
- Feeding and general care of dogs
- Helping with puppies (cleaning, socialising, basic care)
- Basic grooming of dogs (bathing, brushing, etc. – training can be provided)
Additional tasks
- Light paperwork during quieter periods (full training provided)
What we’re looking for
- Someone genuinely reliable – turns up and sticks to agreed hours
- Trustworthy and respectful in a home environment
- Comfortable working around a lot of dogs
- Not afraid of mess or hard work (physical, fast paced role)
- Able to work efficiently and keep up with the pace
- Happy to help with both dog care and household tasks
- Calm, patient, and good with animals
- Someone who takes pride in their work and can work on own initiative
Relevant dog care qualifications are a bonus but not essential – full training will be provided.
Pay
£12.71 per hour
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm. Flexibility on number of days worked. Extra hours will be required during school holidays.

- Reference may be requested
- DBS/PVG check (or willingness to obtain one) preferred
- Driving licence required due to location
