Overview
Due to continued growth, a well-established Chartered Financial Adviser firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail focused individual who enjoys supporting advisers and playing a key role in delivering high quality financial planning, working on a hybrid work basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing client files and maintaining accurate electronic records
- Supporting advisers with pre meeting preparation and, where appropriate, attending meetings
- Conducting financial research and analysis to support advice delivery
- Producing suitability reports, review documentation, and client correspondence
- Creating illustrations, cash flow modelling, and product comparisons
- Assisting with portfolio reviews, including risk profiling and asset allocation analysis
- Working collaboratively with administration colleagues to ensure smooth processing of paperwork and communications
- Identifying planning opportunities within existing client arrangements (such as investments, pensions, or tax efficient wrappers)
- Ensuring all work complies with FCA requirements and internal compliance procedures
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within financial planning
- Holding, or actively working towards, CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Strong written skills with the ability to produce clear, professional client reports
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with advisers and support teams
