Your new companyHays Business Support are delighted to be working with a well established company within the Perthshire area who are looking for a part-time Personal Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is a key function in the business with a range of duties and reporting to the Directors. There is huge scope for progression and eventually working towards a succession plan from within. This company are locally based and nationally recognised with a strong presence in their specialist industry. Your new roleIn your new role, you will continuously maintain and update employees’ records. Coordinating annual Performance Appraisals ensures a beneficial process for both managers and employees, with actions and concerns promptly flagged to Senior Management. Researching training options and organising development initiatives. Keeping up to date with employment legislation and updating HR policies, which are vital responsibilities. Supporting managers in recruitment processes and handling personnel issues confidentially are essential tasks. Collaborating with accounts for seamless payroll information management is also part of the role.

What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have previous experience as a personal assistant. You will be analytically proficient and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interactions with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external to the Company. Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages. You will have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy. The ability to work on your own initiative and be able to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain full confidentiality.
