Orthotics Technician: CAD/CAM Manufacturing in Shetland

Job Description

NHS Shetland is seeking a motivated Orthotics Technician to join our Orthotic Service. This role involves manufacturing, adapting and supplying bespoke devices for patients across Shetland, working closely with Orthotists and a multidisciplinary team.

You will spend much of your time using CAD/CAM systems and CNC milling to produce custom orthoses from various materials, with a comprehensive induction and local/off-island training. Living in Shetland offers a superb lifestyle.
