Optometrist – Melrose, Scottish Borders
Salary: 50,000 – 60,000 DOE
Hours: Full time or part time (3-5 days), including most Saturdays with potential flexibility (1 in 4 off)

Zest Optical Recruitment is working with an independent Opticians in Melrose, Scottish Borders to recruit a full or part time Optometrist.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established, patient-focused practice with a loyal patient base. The practice offers longer test times, a relaxed clinic structure and a focus on quality care.
Optometrist – The Role
- Full or part time Optometrist role in Melrose
- Independent Opticians with a strong community presence
- Single testing clinics with 30-45 minute appointments
- Advanced equipment including OCT, DNEye Scanner
- Focus on high levels of clinical care and patient experience
- Loyal and established patient base
- Supportive, close-knit team environment

Working Hours
- 3-5 days per week
- Including most Saturdays with potential flexibility (1 in 4 off)
- 9am to 5pm
Salary and Benefits
- Salary between 50,000 to 60,000 depending on experience

- GOC registered Optometrist
