Shift pattern: Days, 40 hours per week.

Rota: Week 1 Monday 09:00 – 17:30; Tuesday 11:00 – 19:30; Wednesday 09:00 – 17:30; Friday 09:00 – 17:30; Saturday 09:00 – 17:30.
Week 2 Monday 09:00 – 17:30; Tuesday 09:00 – 17:30; Wednesday 09:00 – 17:30; Thursday 11:00 – 19:30; Friday 09:00 – 17:30.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire optical operation, ensuring high-quality patient service.
- Lead a team of optometrists and optical assistants, providing coaching and development.
- Maintain compliance processes and procedures, and address customer queries.
- Review sales forecasting and department targets, and manage the shop floor to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate with clinical support and area managers to optimise performance and business updates.
- Manage clinic operations, including equipment, supplies, and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
- Proven leadership skills in a fast paced optics environment.
- Strong coaching ability and confidence in developing staff.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer and patient care.
- Ambitious and driven to meet departmental targets.
