To lead offshore wells teams and manage day-to-day wellsite operations. To comply with platform safe systems of work, THREE60 integrated management systems, legislation and oilfield good practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of work programmes in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner while maintaining well integrity
• Lead offshore Safety and Environmental performance on behalf of the Well Operator
• Promote and supervise project agreed HSEQ processes and initiatives offshore
• Implement Process Safety fundamentals to well operations
• Ensure that work programmes are correctly implemented offshore through effective communication and supervision
• Identify changes, promote Stop Work Authority and implement the Management of Change processes
• Implement offshore control of work processes such as pre-job planning meetings, pre-job safety meetings, risk assessments, written work instructions, after action reviews
• Work with offshore leads to avoid and resolve conflicts arising from the delivery of multiple workscopes through communication and careful planning
• Accurate and timely reporting of all well operations.
• Review of work programmes provided by the onshore team, provide timely feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement and support continuous improvement processes, including recording and reporting of lessons learned
• Timely ordering, checking and subsequent returns of equipment, materials and services necessary for well operations
• Manage and support specialist service providers; HWU, cementing, fluids, downhole tools, etc
• Provide technical support during emergency response and emergency response exercises

Competence Requirements

• Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Valid certification to allow travel to offshore operations.
  • Valid IWCF Well Control (Supervisor) certificate
• Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years in offshore wells supervision roles
  • Experience with platform drilling or abandonment operations essential
  • HWU or modular drilling rig experience beneficial
