Nurse Consultant (Cardiology) (Ref: 250277)

Substantive

Full Time – 36 hours per week

Band 8A – Salary Range £65,125 – £70,303 per annum

Distant Island Allowance: £2,578 per annum

Relocation Assistance: up to £8,000 available

We are seeking a motivated, highly experienced cardiology nurse to lead, influence and deliver our cardiac services across NHS Shetland. The post is based in secondary care, reaching out to Primary Care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the cardiac nursing team
  • Ensure safe, effective, evidence based, person centred cardiac care
  • Deliver heart failure nurse led clinics
  • Deliver cardiac rehabilitation services
  • Support the cardioversion service
  • Work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams across all settings

  • Proven evidence of professional development and advanced practice
  • Determination, drive and commitment to the role
