Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 22:00 – 06:00
Pay: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a dependable and professional Night Shift Cleaner to join our team at the Thermo Fisher Scientific site in Paisley.

This role supports the delivery of high-quality facilities management services within a regulated life sciences environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness across office and general areas, ensuring compliance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.

The position also offers a structured development pathway, with opportunities to receive training in specialist industrial and production cleaning, supporting wider site operations over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning activities across offices, corridors, washrooms, and communal areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with site and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all areas are presented to a professional standard for employees and visitors
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times
• Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests as required during shift
• Work collaboratively with the wider facilities team to support effective site operations

What We’re Looking For

Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided

A reliable and professional approach, with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently during night shifts and as part of a wider team

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

A flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills

Interest in progressing into industrial and specialist cleaning disciplines
