Night Manager – Ayr

Responsibilities
- Drive strategy into action: Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor during the night shift, ensuring deliveries are date rotated and waste and returns are managed correctly to limit damage through replenishment.
- Lead with impact: Lead and coach night colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shopfloor standards, creating a culture of selling with personality, serving with heart and pride, and encouraging extra sales.
- Execution-focused: Ensure the shopfloor is landed and presentable for customers before handing over to the day team, with promotion, foyer and hot spots fit for trade.
- Talent Development: Listen with empathy, drive resilience, encourage ownership, focus and passion for the business, support development of the team and create an environment where people feel valued, trusted and motivated to step up.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
- Ability to make independent decisions with a hands on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
- Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.
