Global manufacturing service provider of precision products based in Lanark have an opportunity for a Modern Craft Apprenticeship.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Key Tasks
- In your first year, you’ll gain a strong foundation in the practical skills you need to work on our products within our Lanark factory, you will then commence training with EKGTA in East Kilbride. Over the following three years, whilst attending college on a day-release basis to gain an HNC in Engineering, you’ll continue to broaden and deepen your knowledge whilst working with some of our top engineers. Along the way, you’ll work towards completing your Apprenticeship framework.

- Our apprentices need to be passionate about manufacturing engineering. So, you should be analytical, motivated and most importantly, endlessly curious about how things are made.
- Numeracy is important, and you should be a great team player. You’ll have to learn fast and have the discipline to balance studying for a qualification with the demands of your role.
Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required
- Ideally you will have three National 5 Grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language, plus either Engineering, Design & Technology or Science (excluding Biology), all at grade C or above (obtained or predicted), but other qualifications will be considered.
- Successful candidates will be required to sit an aptitude test with EKGTA (training providers for the apprenticeship course).
