Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer
Location: Inverness
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay Rate: Up to £54,340
Working Hours: Monday Friday 7am to 5pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team covering the IV, KW, PH, AB and DD postcode areas. This is a mobile position with some workshop-based PDI and repair work at the company’s Inverness depot.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant/construction equipment on customer sites and at the company depot including 0.75tonne to 75 tonne, 1 ton dumpers to 45 tonne adt’s, telehandlers, tracked dumpers and dozers.
Job Description:
- Carrying out service and repair work at various customer sites covering the are IV, KW, PH, AB + DD areas
- Performing routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Some depot work based in Inverness carrying out PDIs and repairs
- Identifying, recording and rectifying defects
- Ensuring all work is completed to health & safety standards
- Accurately completing job reports and paperwork
- Attending breakdowns on customer sites
Requirements
- Must have experience working on plant/construction equipment and machinery
- Ability to work independently
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Must have the right to work in the UK (No sponsorship can be offered)
