Duties of the Mobile HGV Trailer Technician:
- Servicing and repairing trailers, including tail lifts, curtain siders, and other trailer types
- Conducting diagnostics and fault finding on trailers
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within specified standards
- Planning workloads to meet deadlines efficiently
- Maintaining HGV vehicle and trailer documentation
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicating effectively with team members and customers
Requirements of the Mobile HGV Trailer Technician:
- Proven experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician
- Knowledge of trailer systems, including tail lifts and curtain siders
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) is preferred
- Valid HGV driving licence is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
