Team Leader – Mobile Cleaning Operations (Scotland)
Mitie Specialist Cleaning is looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to oversee our front line mobile cleaning operations across Scotland.
This vacancy is available for an immediate start.

The Role
As Team Leader, you will take ownership of the day to day coordination and performance of mobile cleaning teams, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You will act as the key link between front line operatives, central support teams, and customers, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily work schedules for mobile cleaning teams
- Liaise with central helpdesk to allocate and respond to incoming jobs
- Ensure all works are completed in line with SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations
- Provide post work reporting and updates to customers
- Carry out site surveys and prepare costings and quotations
- Monitor job progress
- Lead, coach, and support front line operatives, including onboarding and training
- Conduct audits, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
- Manage operational issues and drive a “fix it first time” culture
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential) with flexibility to travel across Scotland
- Experience managing mobile, front line cleaning or service teams (desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, reactive environment
- Strong organisational and multi tasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident in using IT systems, email, and reporting tools
- Good understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work
- A proactive problem solver with strong leadership capability
