Duties of the MET Technician:
- Strip and refit body panels, bumpers, and doors efficiently and to a high standard
- Use diagnostics tools to identify and repair faults confidently
- Work within a fast-paced bodyshop environment, either independently or as part of a team
- Complete job cards and related paperwork accurately and thoroughly
- Adhere to health and safety standards and company protocols
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure job quality and safety
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification as an MET or Mechanic
- Proven experience working in a bodyshop environment
- ATA accreditation is highly beneficial
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work with complex fault finding
- Ability to strip and refit vehicle parts with precision
- Confident in completing paperwork and job documentation
- Owns the necessary tools for the role
- Professional attitude and team player mentality
