Vacancy Overview

We have a unique vacancy for Peer Practitioner and are looking to recruit someone with lived/living experience of Mental Ill Health. This is an opportunity for you to use your lived experience of recovery and self-management to provide Hope and Belief for others, through equal relationships and shared experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Share tools and coping mechanisms that have helped in your recovery, to support others.
  • Collaborate with the NHS and 3rd sector organisations within the multidisciplinary Thrive Welcome Teams.
  • Provide 1:1 support across disciplines, facilitate group work for Decision Skills and ADHD, and cover Open Access drop-in points for mental health support.

Qualifications

  • Lived or living experience of Mental Ill Health.
  • Emotionally resilient and confident to share personal recovery tools and coping mechanisms.
  • Ability to support others in navigating their recovery journey.
