Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers/Learning Disability Carers to join our team. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
– Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs
– Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
– Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet individual needs
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
– Maintain accurate records and reports
– Promote independence, dignity, and respect for individuals
Requirements:
– Relevant qualifications/Experience in mental health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3)
– Experience working in mental health support or a similar field – for atleast 6 months
– PMVA training (or willingness to complete)
– One Day mandatory Health care training or (Basic life support, Manual handling and Fire safety – Face to face training certificates)
– Up-to-date UK immunization records and Hepatitis B titre level Blood test results
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work flexibly and prioritize individual needs
